Community Interpreting and Translating Service is based in Stowmarket, which is an ideal location for serving the whole of East Anglia, although a large proportion of our work is centred in and around Ipswich.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by phone, fax, email and on line, CITS provides a direct contact service at all times.

In today’s culturally diverse society, language barriers often pose communication problems that have a detrimental effect on individuals and businesses alike. To help combat this, our interpreters and translators are selected according to research analysis of the main languages spoken locally any by customer demand.

CITS aims to provide a professional service. We endeavour to use native speakers at all times both to ensure accuracy and to provide employment for people whose first language is not English.

CITS prides itself on having no hidden costs . For example, the translation of documents, leaflets and letters are apportioned into one hundred word sections with a minimum charge for each language. Proofreading is incorporated into our prices, with no added surcharge.
